2 – Enter #pw+UNLOCKCODE+1# or #pw+UNLOCKCODE+7#

3 – The phone will show “SIM Restriction Off” and is now unlocked.

HOW TO UNLOCK YOUR NOKIA PHONE 2nd Method:

1 – Switch ON your phone with a non-accepted SIM card inserted.

2 – Enter #pw+UNLOCKCODE+1# or #pw+UNLOCKCODE+7#

3 – The phone will show “SIM Restriction Off” and is now unlocked.

“UNLOCKCODE” is the code you get sent.

How to get the #pw+ up on your phone:

To generate the P you must press the star key quickly 3 times.

To generate the W you must press the star key quickly 4 times.

To generate the + you must press the star key quickly 2 times.

Unlock codes are 15 digits long.

For example if your UNLOCK CODE is: 987654321012345 you would enter: #pw+987654321012345+1#

PLEASE NOTE:

Some Nokia you need to enter #pw+UNLOCKCODE+1# or #pw+UNLOCKCODE+7#

Troubleshooting:

Normally you can enter the unlock code into your Nokia with no SIM card in the handset. Some new Nokia’s require a SIM card that is NOT accepted to be inserted in the phone before the phone will actually ask for the unlock code.

I have entered the code and the phone displayed the message “Cannot Undo Restriction” or “Not Allowed”, what now? When entering unlock codes you only get 3 attempts, some older Nokia will allow 5 attempts. The message “Can Not undo Restriction” or “Not Allowed” means that an incorrect code has been entered 3 times or more prior to entering the correct code we generated. This may have been yourself or the previous owner of the handset. This means that even a correct code will not unlock your phone. Sadly your phone can now only be unlocked using a direct cable method, we recommend you contact us for help.

I entered the code and the phone displayed the message “Code Error”

If you see “Code Error” after entering the code then your phone may be unlocked regardless of the message. Try another SIM card in the phone to see if it is accepted! If the phone is still locked it is likely you have entered incorrect details.

Nothing happens when I enter the code (no message is displayed at all)

As soon as you enter the final “#” of the code you should see a message displayed by the handset. If nothing happens at all please insert a SIM card from a network that is NOT accepted into the phone and turn it on. The handset will then prompt you to enter a restriction code. At this stage enter the code.

Model: Nokia C3

Turn on the phone with a non-accepted SIM card inserted. It should state that the SIM is restricted.

Press OK to be able to enter the unlock code. Then, using the full QWERTY keypad as normal, type: #pw+CODE+1# and press OK

Note: replace CODE with the unlock code

For most Nokia Lumia Series Unlocking Instructions:

1. Switch ON your phone with a non accepted simcard
2. Phone will ask you to Enter Unlock Pin
3. Input the 8 digit Unlock Code

Model: Nokia Lumia 900 (AT&T)

1. Switch ON your phone with a non accepted simcard
2. Phone will ask you to Enter Unlock Pin
3. Input the 8 digit Unlock Code

If code is Not working:

The workaround is this: Enter the incorrect code until you run out of your ten (10) attempts. Then you’ll get the *real* network unlock message, with 32 attempts. Enter the same 8-digit code you’ve been entering. See here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8SO5ZXQy1zM
